Who we are
Over the course of the past five years we have grown to a business of over 2000 Instaboxers united by a single purpose; providing the smoothest shipping experience known to mankind. We are really really fast, both in terms of parcel delivery and when it comes to growing our business. We keep on expanding in the Nordics, partnering with the most recognisable names within the e-commerce space and fulfilling their delivery needs. In light of this growth we are now looking for a Director for the Merchant Development team in the Nordics, to come onboard and lead our Key Account department. That is hopefully where you come in.

What you will be doing
Reporting to our Head of Sales Nordics your task is to lead our Key Account Managers in the Nordic countries, make sure that we develop Instabox largest clients and ensure that the team delivers high results. Your job will be to motivate, coach and develop the team as it continues to increase in size. Working closely with our Network and BI department you will perform analysis of the different markets and devise sales strategies based on that analysis, you will also make sure that those strategies are carried out by the team in a coordinated and structured way in order to assure maximum impact and efficiency. As such your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

  • Develop account management plans
  • Recruit, onboard and train new team members
  • Coordinate with various departments to analyse the market
  • Device and implement sales strategies
  • Sales and budget responsibility for the entire group

Who you are
In short we are looking for someone amazing. When we call your references they will tell us about your ability to motivate others around you and lead by example - they may or may not draw parallels to scenes from Braveheart but if they do, we won’t be surprised. They will refer to you as a cultural torch bearer who always ensures that your team has the tools, skills and insight necessary in order to perform their job with high efficiency. Moreover we would like to see evidence of the following in your background: 

  • Minimum of 5-9 years of experience managing a sales team
  • A track record of achieving and/or beating targets previous exposure to analytical tasks such as consumer/market segmentation
  • Interpersonal and coaching skills that have contributed to increased sales results
  • Experience from managing a team across multiple locations/countries
