Who we are
Over the course of the past five years, Instabox has grown from a small logistics company to one of the fastest-growing Last-Mile Delivery companies in the Nordic region. Our journey has taken us from Sweden to Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands and we are growing very fast in countries where we are present. We now have the need for a new talented colleague who will take on the role as our Head of People & Performance for Nordics, managing People operations processes including performance review cycles, compensation reviews, working environment and planning. Legal and regulatory compliance are important aspects of the role and as we scale you know how to ensure that we evolve our processes appropriately.
We are looking for someone who is an experienced leader a trusted HR advisor and someone who is comfortable giving HR advice to a variety of Stakeholders. These range from staff and leaders in our terminals, site and regional managers, as well as the General Manager for Nordics, together with other senior leaders in the Nordic Management Team, of which you will be a part. The Nordic organization today comprises around 1 500 employees across ~20 terminals in 3 countries. You will be an important contributor to our continued growth and to achieving our purpose of fossil free, uncomplicated deliveries.
What you will be doing
You will be reporting to the General Manager for the Nordics, and to our Global Head of People & Performance. Your daily tasks will include supporting managers to drive change and growth throughout the Nordics. We want you to become a role model in terms of leadership excellence as well as a cultural ambassador. Through coaching and continuous feedback, you will provide our leaders with the tools they need in order to be successful in their roles and maintain efficiency as our business continues to expand. You will lead, motivate and inspire the Nordics HR team. We will give you the authority to oversee the workplace, working environment, health and well-being, as well as safety & security. On top of that you plan, manage, develop and implement continuous improvement activities within HR. Additionally, we will be looking to you for developing new people programs, strategies, policies and practices adapted to our different markets and at the same time aligned with our group strategy. All in all, this could be described as a broad role where you will get to utilize every skill in your toolbox and have a tangible impact every day. Who you are
We are looking for the operational strategist who is pragmatic and gets stuff done. You are a change agent HR executive with a spike in organizational transformation, talent management, organizational effectiveness and capability building. You love working with people and you are a great communicator. You always rely on data on which you base your decisions. In order to be successful in this role you will need to be able to thrive in an operational role and at the same time have a strategic mindset. You need to be comfortable with an environment characterized by fast pace and growth, rapid change, and processes/systems/tools in need of improvements. Therefore, you also need to be proactive and in charge of your own agenda, and able to make sometimes tough prioritizations. Beyond these attributes, we would like to see evidence of the following in your background: 10+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably from a growing and/or production-oriented business An extensive experience of working environment processes, collective bargaining agreement development and union negotiations in a production environment in Sweden. Nordics exposure to the above is a plus. A track record that shows your ability to implement and facilitate People & Performance programs at all levels of the business Comfortable with driving change A true team-player with great leadership skills It will be beneficial for you to have experience from working in a high-growth organization, but more importantly you will need to have a passion for operating in a fast-paced environment, where things are constantly evolving and priorities change quickly.
